6. Fees and Payment
Service fees are as described on our website or in individual engagement letters. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise specified.
Payment terms are set out in each engagement letter. Where not otherwise specified, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. Late payments may incur reasonable administrative charges.
Engagements require a signed letter of engagement and an initial payment before work commences. Specific refund terms, if applicable, will be set out in the engagement letter.

Our advisory engagements involve a structured process of discovery, analysis, and recommendation. The following general terms apply:
- Timelines are indicative and may be affected by the availability of information, approvals, or stakeholder access

9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to a service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for that engagement.

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lalang Consulting harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of this website, breach of these Terms, or misrepresentation of information provided to us.

Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice, subject to terms set out in the engagement letter. Upon termination, fees for work completed to the termination date are payable.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion where we identify a conflict of interest or where continued engagement would not be in keeping with our professional obligations.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage parties to first attempt informal resolution through direct communication.
Should informal resolution not succeed, disputes shall be referred to mediation before proceeding to litigation. The courts of Kuala Lumpur shall have jurisdiction over any unresolved disputes.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any applicable engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between the parties on the subject matter.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so subsequently.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date and Last Updated dates above. Your continued use of this website following any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
